Minister Umahi Endorses Ebonyi Governor for Second Term

Former Governor of Ebonyi State and current Minister of Works, David Umahi, has declared his unwavering support for Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, pledging to back his uninterrupted eight-year tenure in office.
Addressing the Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum during their visit to his country home in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of the state, Minister Umahi emphasized his commitment to the covenant he made with both God and the people of Ebonyi to ensure equity in leadership.
He also praised Nwifuru’s humility and leadership, declaring, “Even if Nwifuru or anyone stands against me tomorrow, the covenant I had with him and God is for an uninterrupted 8 years, and nothing will stop this.”
Going further, Umahi also assured the South East region of the federal government’s commitment to addressing security challenges, assuring them of a significant improvement by 2025.

The Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum, led by its President General, Dr. Andrew Chibueze Elom, expressed gratitude to Umahi for his role in facilitating an Izzi man’s emergence as governor. They urged him to continue guiding and supporting him to ensure his administration’s success.
