Club World Cup 2025 Winners to Wear FIFA Champions Badge for Four Years
The winners of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will be awarded the newly redesigned FIFA Champions Badge—and for the first time ever, they’ll wear it on their shirts for four years, until the next tournament in 2029.
This marks a significant shift from the previous format, where winners could only showcase the badge for one year. The change comes as FIFA transitions the Club World Cup into a 32-team tournament held every four years, starting in June 2025 in the United States.
The new badge features a sleek, circular gold design, replacing the older shield-shaped version. It will be a symbol of global dominance in club football, worn exclusively by the champions of the revamped competition.
With top clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, Chelsea, and Inter Miami set to participate, the stakes are higher than ever. The tournament winner will also take home a record-breaking $125 million prize, making it the richest club competition in football history.
