NCAT Student Clears Ogah of N4 Million Extortion Allegation

Nweke Caleb Chisom, a student at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), has denied allegations that Hon. Chinedu Ogah demanded a N4 million commission from him.
“My attention has been drawn to false allegations flying on social media… I may not have made any public post in regards to my career pursuit as a professional pilot in Nigeria College of Aviation Technology— NCAT.”
Chisom clarified that he received a fully funded N24 million tuition fee support from the governor, facilitated by Ogah, without any deductions .
Chisom expressed surprise at the false allegations, questioning the logic behind Ogah demanding N4 million from him.
“How would an Honorable of a whole constituency not be able to afford 4M but demand it from a student?”
He emphasized that Ogah’s endorsement of his letter to the governor was instrumental in securing the tuition fee support, making it unlikely that Ogah would demand a commission from him.
Chisom also condemned journalists Odo Chikwere and Nwoba Chika Nwoba for spreading false information, stating that they should provide evidence to support their claims.
Notably, Nwoba Chika Nwoba was previously arraigned by the Ebonyi State police command for allegedly publishing false statements on Facebook against Ogah.
