Nasboi Vows To Continue 36-State Campaign For Davido’s Verse After Surviving Car Crash

Nigerian content creator and musician, Nasboi, has pledged to press on with his 36-day nationwide campaign for a feature from Afrobeats superstar Davido—despite being involved in a car accident during the journey.
Currently on a self-driven tour across Nigeria, Nasboi is visiting every state capital with a placard boldly requesting a verse from Davido. On the eighth day of the campaign, while traveling between states, he was involved in a serious road accident. Thankfully, he walked away unhurt and has expressed deep gratitude for his safety.
Speaking from Abuja in a heartfelt statement, Nasboi reaffirmed his commitment to the mission:
“Exactly eight days into my 36-day campaign across Nigeria, what started as a bold, creative plea for a verse from the legendary Davido has now taken on a life of its own.
Yes, the accident happened. I’m alive, and for that, I am grateful. And yes, it was terrifying.
I have seen the concerns, the criticisms, and the backlash. I hear you. But I refuse to let this moment be defined by fear, shame, or public opinion.”
He explained that the campaign has grown beyond a mere request for a collaboration. It has become a personal test of endurance and determination:
“This journey is no longer just about music. It has become a personal mission to prove that I can weather storms, face real danger, and still keep moving forward. It’s about resilience. It’s about showing the world—and myself—that once I set my heart on something, I finish it.”
Nasboi insisted he will not stop, not because of desperation, but because of purpose:
“I will continue this campaign not out of desperation, but out of purpose. I hope someone out there sees this and finds the courage to keep going, even when the road gets rough.”
He closed his message with a bold declaration:
“We rise not by convenience, but by conviction.”
The entertainer is currently in Kano as part of the campaign’s next stop, determined to complete his 36-state challenge with or without a response from Davido.
