VeryDarkMan Mocks Prophet Jeremiah’s Viral Miracle, Dares Him To Heal Real Patients

ntroversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has called out popular cleric Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin following a viral video that claims the pastor brought a woman on life support back to life.

Reacting to the dramatic footage, VDM described the so-called miracle as “a performance” and accused the prophet of staging fake healings to deceive the public and attract more followers.

“Prophet Jeremiah, that was a very beautiful performance. The actors did well,” VDM said sarcastically. “I have an aunt in the hospital right now. Let’s go there. If you heal her like you healed that woman, I’ll drop the court case. I’ll pay the one billion naira you’re suing me for.”

The activist said he wasn’t speaking out of hatred, but out of frustration with the growing manipulation of religion in Nigeria.

“This is part of the big problem in Africa. It’s not just bad government—na these fake pastors too. They’ve used religion to keep the youth mentally stuck. Government needs to start regulating all these online miracles. That’s why I respected Obasanjo—remember when he moved against Pastor Chris?”

He challenged Prophet Jeremiah to leave the stage and prove his power in real life:

“Carry Prophet Jeremiah go real hospital. Let him heal just five people. No crowd, no camera, no drama. Just five. Let’s see. I once took his miracle water to some physically challenged people. Nothing changed. The water didn’t work. Till today, NAFDAC has done nothing.”

VDM also criticized religious leaders for being absent when real crises happen:

“Nigeria has the most churches. We pray pass everybody. But when herdsmen kill people in Jos, Benue, Bayelsa, Enugu, Edo—none of these pastors ever see vision. None of them talk. But they’ll come online, stage one fake healing, post it, and collect tithe and offering. That’s the game.”

He stressed that blind faith is being used as a tool of oppression:

“Young people need to wake up. In places like China, the youth are building things. Here, it’s ‘pray in Jesus’ name.’ Miracles happen, yes. But not this nonsense these people are staging. Most of them are thieves.”

VDM didn’t spare Islamic leaders either:

“It’s not only pastors. A lot of imams too have twisted the Quran to brainwash people. They’re using religion to destroy lives. Pastor dey scam, imam dey scam. Jesus rode a donkey once. Nigerian pastors dey cruise in five private jets. If all of us die now, five of them go enter heaven before me, I no go lie. But me—I’ll keep talking.”

He ended with a fiery call for liberation and self-reliance:

“Young people, use your hands. Don’t wait for miracles. If you wait, you go learn the hard way. We go continue to speak until minds are free. Even when we’re gone, our videos go still dey online. Just like Fela, we go enter the book of legends.”

And with a final nod to Fela Kuti, he sang:

“Pastor na enjoyment, Imam dey para, Imam self dey enjoy, Popo self dey enjoy…”
