Tanzanian Activist, Mange Kimambi Tells Priscilla Ojo to Keep Quiet Amid Tanzania’s Election Tensions

Tanzanian activist Mange Kimambi has called on Priscilla Ojo, the wife of singer Juma Jux, to maintain a low profile on social media as Tanzania heads into a critical election period.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Mange praised Priscilla’s charm and noted that Tanzanians have embraced her warmly. However, she urged Priscilla and Jux to avoid posting content that could serve as a distraction during what she described as a pivotal moment for the nation.

“Tanzania is in a fight of a lifetime,” Mange wrote. “We are fighting for our rights, and we need our people to focus. We don’t need you and Jux to distract them with stupid content the government wants you guys to post.”

She appealed to the couple to step back from public displays and social media for the next five months, stressing that their presence online could derail efforts by citizens pushing for political change.

“Please sit down for the next five months. After the election, do whatever you need to stay relevant, and we’ll support you,” she added.

Mange also directed her message to Jux’s close friend Diamond Platnumz, asking him to “lay low” during this period. She warned that while Priscilla and Jux might not join the public struggle due to their privileges, they should at least refrain from interfering.

“If you need to do kiki, take him to Nigeria and do it there,” Mange said. “Again, we love you, our sweet, beautiful girl. Don’t take this the wrong way—we adore you. We love Nigerians.”
