Reno Omokri Slams Peter Obi’s Presidential Ambitions

Renowned author and influencer Reno Omokri has launched a scathing attack on Peter Obi’s presidential aspirations, citing alleged failures and controversies during his tenure as Governor of Anambra State.
According to Omokri, “Peter Obi, who did not build a single nursery, primary or secondary school, or university in Anambra, promises to build Nigeria.”
Omokri also highlighted the alleged increase in poverty rates during Obi’s governorship, stating, “Peter Obi, who almost doubled the poverty rate in Anambra in his eight years as Governor, vows to bring prosperity to Nigeria.”
Furthermore, Omokri pointed out the lack of healthcare infrastructure development, saying, “Peter Obi, who did not build even one standalone hospital in Anambra, declares that he will end health tourism in Nigeria.”
Omokri’s critique also focused on exam malpractice and corruption allegations, noting, “Peter Obi, under whose leadership Anambra was the world headquarters for exam fraud with 486 Exam Miracle Centres, swears that he will fight exam malpractice.”
Additionally, Omokri referenced the Pandora Papers controversy, stating, “Peter Obi, who illegally and fraudulently siphoned money out of Nigeria—for which the Pandora Papers of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists indicted him—says he will fight corruption.”
Omokri concluded by questioning Obi’s sincerity, saying, “If you believe all these Gbajue promises, I encourage you to believe the restored CBEX website when it says it is now a transparent investment scheme.”
Peter Obi’s camp has yet to respond to Omokri’s allegations.
This development adds to the growing debate surrounding Peter Obi’s presidential ambitions.
