Ramadan: Senator Yari distributes food items in Zamfara

Former Governor of Zamfara State and current Senator representing Zamfara West in the 10th National Assembly, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, says the distribution of 496 trucks of food items during Ramadan to feed widows, orphans, the poor and families in need.
The distribution, under his Ramadan Welfare Package scheme, was launched in Ƙaura Namoda, Gusau, and Talata Mafara local government areas, and would take place simultaneously across all 14 local governments to ensure beneficiaries begin the Ramadan fast with ease.
Represented by the Head of his Organization, Dr. Lawal Liman, urged officials overseeing the distribution to carry out their duties with honesty, sincerity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Senator Yari reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the people of Zamfara, stating that, he considers the entire state as his constituency and will continue working for its growth and development in all aspects.
The Chairman of the Publicity Committee, Ibrahim Muhammad said the beneficiaries will received one 50kg bag of rice, 100kg of millet, 100kg of maize and 1kg of sugar per beneficiary
This initiative aims to support vulnerable families during the holy month of Ramadan.
