Radiogad accuses VeryDarkMan of embezzling ₦180m NGO funds

An online personality, Radiogad, has accused VeryDarkMan of embezzling ₦180 million from a ₦200 million NGO fund, alleging the money was spent on luxury cars and women.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Radiogad gave VeryDarkMan 48 hours to return the alleged stolen funds.
Radiogad’s accusations come shortly after VeryDarkMan claimed the same ₦180 million had been stolen through a hack on the NGO’s website.
While VeryDarkMan is yet to provide detailed clarification, his statement has sparked widespread criticism, with many Nigerians accusing him of fabricating the story or playing a prank.
Radiogad joined the critics, accusing VeryDarkMan of deceit and demanding accountability.
In his video, Radiogad made several bold claims and expressed frustration over the situation.
Excerpts from his statement include:
“VDM, I give you 48 hours to return that NGO money. Nigerians are not fools. I spit on your face for this. Anytime I wear this hat, know I’m in no mood for jokes.”
“VDM, you can’t fool us. My ₦200 million is in that NGO, and I’ve heard enough about your extravagant lifestyle—parties, cars, and women. You think we don’t know?”
“You claim hackers stole ₦180 million from a website. Is the money on the site or in a bank? This excuse sounds like something our politicians would say. Go back to your drawing board; this scam is cheap.”
Radiogad further accused VeryDarkMan of using the funds for personal gains instead of the intended public projects, such as building schools and boreholes.
He alleged that VeryDarkMan recently purchased a Benz and hosted lavish parties, casting doubt on his credibility.
“The money isn’t yours, VDM. It’s for the public. We trusted you to use it for good, so don’t betray us. Return the money and start the project immediately.”
As the allegations unfolded, social media users flooded the comment section to share their opinions, adding to the growing discourse around the controversial incident.
See some reactions below:
@lesh_szajna: “Vdm isn’t the first person to do this kind of thing in nigeria from the beginning I actually knew this guy is playing una for the NGO update.”
@rolklyn: “@radiogadyou are concluding without facts! @Coolverydarkma knows he post a new car recently, he wouldn’t use the NGO money and come out here crying about it being hacked !! I wouldn’t agreed with this today nor in the future till proven otherwise.”
