Popular Ilorin Musician , Mukaila Senwele Is Dead

A popular Ilorin-born musician, Mukaila Senwele has been reportedly dead.

According to multiple reports, the singer passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Balogun Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State capital.

It was gathered that the singer was first taken to Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (KWSUTH), Surulere, where it was said that due to the severity of his condition, the medical team decided to transfer him to Balogun Hospital in Eruda for further treatment.

He had posted on his Facebook page barely 3 hours before his demise.

A family member who pleaded for anonymity said late Mukaila was not sick prior to his death.

“No sign of sickness, he was with his fans throughout the day and he promised to come to the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in tbe night.

“We just received emergency call of his death where he lodged with his fans. On getting there, my elder brother (name withheld) togther with some people tried to rush him to the hospital, unfortunately, we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death.

“He died few moments ago (tonight) and his Janazah has been scheduled for Saturday (tomorrow) morning”, the family source said.

Hailed from Esinrogunjo family compound in the Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, late Mukaila Senwele was a great performer who was admired by many socialites for his unique style of entertainment and prowess.
