Farooq Oreagba, the magnetic cancer survivor who took the spotlight at the 2024 Ojude Oba Festival, has once again commanded attention in 2025 — and done so with unmistakable flair.

Returning to the festival with the same effortless confidence and bold fashion that made him a viral sensation last year, Oreagba reaffirmed his status as the festival’s undisputed style icon.

Back on horseback, the businessman and Managing Director of NG Clearing Limited made a statement in attire that balanced regal elegance with urban edge. Social media lit up instantly, with admirers hailing him as the “King of Steeze” for a second year in a row.

In 2024, Oreagba stunned the world in a green and lemon agbada, coral beads, gold crossbody chain, designer sunglasses, and a cigar in hand. The image of his horse-riding entrance, with tattoos visible and style unmatched, became the defining photo of Ojude Oba that year.

Now, with his 2025 appearance, he’s once again brought fashion and cultural pride into powerful harmony.

Born in Ijebu-Ode in July 1966, Oreagba’s journey goes far beyond style. Diagnosed with both bone and skin cancer in 2014, he achieved full remission by 2015 and was declared cancer-free in 2017 — a testament to his resilience and strength.

An alumnus of Coventry University, the University of East London, and Edward Greenes College in Oxford, Oreagba has decades of experience in the financial industry, including serving on the Derivatives Product Advisory Committee of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

In recognition of his cultural influence, the National Council for Arts and Culture recently named him an Honorary Cultural Ambassador. NCAC Director-General Obi Asika described him as “a true Nigerian original” in celebration of his contribution to the country’s identity and spirit.

Farooq Oreagba didn’t just attend Ojude Oba 2025 — he owned it. Again.
