Shoulder the Responsibility of Representing NYSC, Aladesoun Tasks Corps Members

As part of their orientation program, the 2024 Batch “B” Stream I Corps Members deployed to Lagos received a comprehensive training on public relations at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja.
Mrs. Omolola Aladesoun, Head of Publicity and Protocol, led the session, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive image and reputation for the NYSC.
She highlighted the role of the Information and Public Relations department in fostering good relationships with various stakeholders.
Corps members were encouraged to serve as ambassadors of the NYSC, upholding its values through proper dressing and identity card maintenance. Procedures for replacing lost or missing identity cards were also explained.
The training showcased the NYSC’s social media platforms and publication (Eko Kopa) as vital tools for engaging with the public and promoting the scheme’s activities.
This public relations training aims to equip corps members with the necessary skills to effectively represent the NYSC and maintain a positive public image during their service year.
