NYSC Lagos Forges Strategic Partnership with Leadership Expert Pastor Niyi Adesanya

In a move aimed at strengthening youth development initiatives, the Lagos State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs. Christiana Salmwang, recently paid a courtesy visit to Pastor Niyi Adesanya, one of Nigeria’s foremost leadership experts and inspirational speakers.
The meeting, held in Lagos, was also attended by Kemi Sope-Agbebi, a transformational leader and strategic partnership lead.
The visit was centered on fostering a closer collaboration between the NYSC and Pastor Adesanya’s leadership development initiatives, particularly in the areas of mentoring and skill acquisition for corps members.
Pastor Adesanya, known for his impactful leadership bootcamps and dedication to empowering young Nigerians, highlighted the urgent need to equip corps members with entrepreneurial skills and self-reliance strategies in response to the country’s dwindling availability of white-collar jobs. He stressed that developing the next generation of transformational leaders is critical to Nigeria’s long-term development.
Over the years, Pastor Adesanya’s leadership programs—most notably the Niyi Adesanya Leadership Bootcamp—have served as platforms for grooming aspiring and established leaders across various sectors. His initiatives have consistently provided corps members and young professionals with the tools to lead, innovate, and drive meaningful change.
Reaffirming his commitment to youth development, Pastor Adesanya pledged continued support for the NYSC and expressed readiness to collaborate on initiatives that align with the scheme’s objectives. He also expressed confidence in the NYSC’s role as a transformative force in the lives of Nigerian youths.
Mrs. Salmwang, in turn, lauded the impact of Pastor Adesanya’s work and reiterated the NYSC’s commitment to building partnerships that equip corps members for life beyond service. She described the collaboration as a strategic move to expand the scope of opportunities available to Nigerian youths.
