However Christopher Blessing also had something to share about her year as she handles toxic relationships and find Peace

Asiwaju Media: Blessing, your story reflects deeply on relationships. What lessons did 2024 teach you?

Christopher Blessing: the biggest lesson I learned is that closure isn’t always necessary. I had a close friend whose behavior didn’t align with my values. Despite our differences, I stayed in the relationship far too long, and it took a toll on my mental health.

Asiwaju Media: How did you eventually handle the situation?

Christopher Blessing: I decided to address the issue directly by sharing my concerns with her. Unfortunately, it didn’t lead to resolution. Instead, it created more tension between us. Later, I realized that some relationships are better left behind without seeking closure.

Asiwaju Media: That must have been tough. What advice do you have for others in similar situations?

Christopher Blessing: If a relationship is toxic, leave it. Staying too long can make you adopt negative behaviors. Also, not everything needs to be said; silence and distance can be more effective.
