MAJOR SHAKE-UP AT ABSU! 7 New Appointments Announced – See Who Made the List

In a move aimed at enhancing excellence in service delivery, the Management of Abia State University (ABSU) has approved seven new appointments.
The new appointees are:
1. Professor (Mrs.) Jemima Ogwo – Chairperson, Senate Ceremonials Committee
2. Professor F. E. Eboh – Chairman, Senate Business Committee
3. Professor David Chikezie – Chairman, Senate Security Committee
4. Professor Gazie Okpara – University Orator
5. Professor Amadike Ugbogu – Director, Research and Publications
6. Professor Victor Nwaugo – Desk Officer, Raw Materials Development and Research Council, Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology
7. Mr. Ahamdi Chikezie – Director, Internally Generated Revenue
According to the university management, “All the appointments take immediate effect. Management expects the appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them, in the discharge of their onerous responsibilities.”
The appointments are expected to bring significant improvements to the university’s operations and service delivery.
