Kano Launches Free School Uniform Programme for Over 796,000 Pupils

The Kano State Government is set to commence the distribution of Free School Uniform to 796,092 pupils in public schools across the state.
Announcing this on Sunday, the state’s Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Waiya, stated that the programme aims to improving education in the state. It targets 7,092 public schools in the state’s 44 local government areas.
“This effort seeks to boost enrollment and ensure every school-aged children has access to quality education,” he said..
Governor Yusuf will oversee the programme’s official launch at Coronation Hall, Government House, by 1:00 pm today.
