Governor Adeleke Orders Arrest of Sponsors Behind Esa Oke/Ido Ayegunle Attacks

Governor Ademola Adeleke has directed the immediate arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the attacks on Oke/Ido Ayegunle which has claimed four lives and leaving many destruction of properties.
Expressing shock over the incident, the governor praised security agencies for arresting several suspects. He urged them to go further by apprehending the sponsors behind the violence.
Adeleke assured residents that there was no breach of due process in the appointment of the new Olojudo. He reaffirmed that the position had been officially elevated since 2014.
The governor commended security forces for their swift response in containing the crisis. He promised that all those involved in the violence would be brought to justice.
He also instructed the Commissioner of Police to extend investigations to identify the masterminds behind the attacks. He condoled with affected families and security personnel.
Governor Adeleke called for calm, assuring residents that peace would be restored. He warned that those responsible for the unrest would face the full force of the law.
