FRSC warns against traffic violation, deploys special patrol nationwide

Mallam Shehu Mohammed, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has cautioned motorists against violating traffic rules and regulations during the Easter celebration.

In his Easter message, Mallam Mohammed warned that avoidable traffic violations could lead to serious consequences.

To ensure a safe and smooth motoring experience for all road users during the festive period, the FRSC has deployed adequate personnel and logistics across major highways and identified high-risk areas nationwide.

The initiative is part of a special operation designed to enhance road safety during Easter and beyond.

The Corps Marshal appealed to motorists and other road users to cooperate fully with law-enforcement officers and volunteers supporting the operation, stressing that their collaboration was crucial to the success of the campaign.

While extending his best wishes for a peaceful and joyful Easter, the FRSC boss commended Corps personnel and members of other security agencies involved in the operation for their dedication and sacrifice.

He also urged continuous inter-agency collaboration beyond the holiday period.

Mallam Mohammed encouraged members of the public to report any road emergencies to the nearest FRSC office or patrol team, or by calling the Corps’ toll-free emergency line: 122, for immediate assistance.
