Former Reps Speaker Ghali Na’Abba is Dead

Ghali Umar Na’Abba, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, died in the early hours of Wednesday in Abuja, according to family sources.
Na’Abba, who was born on September 27, 1958, suffered a protracted illness before succumbing to it at the age of 65.
Na’Abba, was a notable figure in Nigerian politics, was the Speaker of the House from 1999 to 2003.
Late Na’Abba battled with ailment for a long time before passing away.
Na’Abba represented the Kano Municipal Federal Constituency, winning election in April 1999.
The late Ghali Na’Abba’s funeral arrangements are set to adhere to Islamic rites.
