The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is mourning the death of the Spiritual Leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide.
Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye popularly called ‘Baba Aladura’ died last night aged 103.
A statement signed by the President of the association, Archbishop Daniel Okoh says “Prophet Abidoye’s spiritual insights and unwavering dedication impacted millions of lives, offering hope and transformation. His integrity, humility, and compassion were exemplary, earning him the respect of believers across the nation”.
Archbishop Okoh however called on the church community in Nigeria to continue promoting unity, love, and peace among Christians and adherents of all faiths, which were the legacies of the late Prophet.
Baba Aladura was born on June 26 as a Prince at Omu Aran, Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State to the family of Odetundun Abegunde, who was Oba Olomu of Omu Aran, which was in Ilorin Province at the time.
