Federal Civil service Commission Debunks Recruitment Exercise

The circulation of a viral document titled; “THE PRESIDENCY FEDERAL CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION 4, ABIDJAN STREET, WUSE ZONE 3, ABUJA DRAFT ADVERTISEMENT” declared up to seventy jobs at the commission vacant.

The Federal Civil Service Commission released in a press statement on Thursday, 23rd January, that the advertised vacancy is a blatant fallacy as the commission is not recruiting presently.

“Federal Civil Service Is Not Recruiting Right Now,” the statement reads in part.

“The attention of the Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has been drawn to information making the rounds on various media platforms about advertised vacancies and recruitments in the Commission.”

The Commission unequivocally declares that the information containing the Commission’s website and the name of the Director (Recruitment and Appointment) did not emanate from the Commission. It is fictitious and should be disregarded.”

The Commission warns members of the public to be wary of the activities of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers; as there is no fresh appointment currently going on in the Commission.

Whenever the Commission officially commences any recruitment exercise this will be publicly announced on national dailies and Commission’s website,” the statement ended.
