FactCheck: Donald Trump Orders sale Of Properties By Nigerian Politicians, Deportation of their Children Back to the Country

Claim: President Donald Trump orders sales of private jets owned by Nigeria politicians in the U.S , calls for the deportation of their children studying in the U.S..

A Facebook User, Chima Emmanuel Ozoemena posted the the U.S President, Donald Trump has ordered the sale of Nigeria politicians private jets and announced to deport their children studying in the U.S back to the country.
His post reads : “President Donald Trump orders for the sale of private jets and luxury properties owned by Nigeria politicians in the U.S.”
“He also calls for the deportation of their children studying in America. Your children must attend schools in your own country to contribute to its growth”

Also, Daily excessive posted, “I have ordered the deportation of all Nigerian politicians’ children back to Nigeria, including those studying here, starting with the President’s children.
You can’t destroy your own country and then come here looking for a better life in a well-run nation. It doesn’t work that way—believe me,” Trump stated.
Verification :
According to premium times, it revealed that there have been seizures of Nigerian government jets due to legal disputes. In 2024, Three Nigerian Presidential jets seized abroad as Ogun state, Chinese firm battle.
The seizure of the presidential jets is a result of an application by Zhongshan, a Chinese company whose export processing zone management contract was revoked by the Ogun State government in 2016.
In 2024, The Social-Economic Rights and Accountability projects urged Donald Trump (Elect President) to identify US based proceeds of corruption traced to the former and current Nigeria public officials and the return of such properties to Nigeria.
SERAP urged Donald to direct the US Department of justice to promptly initiate civil assets to assist Nigeria in recovery of funds and properties matters .
AfricaCheck confirmed that there is no evidence Trump have order for deportations of Nigeria politician children back to the country. Trump’s immigration-related executive orders have primarily targeted illegal immigrants crossing the US-Mexico border, as well as Mexican gangs and cartels.
Conclusion :
No evidence that US President, Donald Trump ordered the sale of properties and private jets owned by Nigeria private jets in the US. The claim they Trump calls for the deportation of Nigerian politician children studying abroad lacks a concrete evidence.
