FAAN Suspends Access Gate Fees at Abuja Airport

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has suspended access gate fees at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. This measure is aimed at to easing traffic congestion for road users.

FAAN announced the decision in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Dr. Obiageli Orah. The statement cited ongoing construction as the major reason for the temporary suspension.

The suspension takes effect from Friday, 24th of January, 2025, and will last until Friday, 7th of February, 2025. This period is expected to provide relief to travelers and airport users.

The agency urged airport users to cooperate and assured them of efforts to ensure minimal disruption during the construction period.

FAAN assured the public that normal operations would resume after the construction work is completed, and further updates would be provided as necessary.
