Call For Applications : NIPES Chinwe Foundation Scholarship 2025 For Undergraduates { Up to ₦1million Award}

NIPES Scholarship Programme, in collaboration with Chinwe Chinonso Iwuanyanwu (Fellow, NIPES), is proud to announce a ₦1,000,000 scholarship for aspiring engineers, scientists, medical doctors, pharmacists, and students pursuing related fields of study.
The NIPES Chinwe Foundation Scholarship is part of the organization’s dedicated activities to foster talent, encourage academic excellence, and promote inclusivity in engineering and science on a global scale.
In addition to the scholarship, applicants will also get access to NIPES’s free online courses and amass certificates.
Eligibility Requirement:
To be eligible for the undergraduate NIPES Chinwe Foundation Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited higher institution.
- Studying science or engineering-related courses.
- Open to students at the 100-level and above.
- Mandatory: Applicants must complete at least two free NIPES online courses and explain the skills learned in their personal statement.
Participating Universities for NIPES Scholarship
Students from federal, state, and private institutions that are accredited by the Ministry of Education are welcome to apply for the scholarship
For the 2025/26 academic session, the NIPES Chinwe Chinonso Iwuanyanwu Scholarship will accept applications from candidates studying the following programmes;
- sciences
- engineering
- medicine
- pharmacy
- and students pursuing related fields of study.

- Your background and educational journey.
- Your passion for engineering, science or related field.
- Academic and extracurricular achievements.
- Challenges you’ve overcome.
- Career goals and alignment with NIPES’s mission.
- Skills gained from the NIPES course: Describe the skills you learned from the free NIPES courses and how they contribute to your academic or career development.
How To Apply for NIPES Chinwe Foundation Scholarship 2025
To apply for the NIPES Chinwe Foundation Scholarship, follow the instructions we have outlined below;
- Read the information we have provided on this webpage and ensure your eligibility
- Register on the NIPES website as a student member (for non-members) here
- Complete a free NIPES online course of your choice here.
- Submit your personal statement (1000 words), explaining the skills you learned from the course and how they apply to your academic or career goals here. NB. Provide proof of enrollment and student ID, and include your NIPES membership number (if applicable).
- As part of the application process, you are required to enroll in and complete one of NIPES’s free online courses.
- These courses are designed to develop practical skills and creative thinking.
- Upon completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion, which you must reference in your personal statement.
