JOBS/SCHOLARSHIPS
Apply for Teach for Nigeria program ( N80,000 monthly stipend)

Teach for Nigeria is committed to building a network of passionate leaders dedicated to closing the education gap in the country.
Millions of Nigerian children lack access to quality education, limiting their opportunities for a better future. Teach for Nigeria aims to change this by breaking the cycle of poverty and ensuring every child has access to quality learning, which is essential for national development.
The Teach for Nigeria Fellowship
The Teach for Nigeria Fellowship is a two-year leadership program designed to equip Fellows with skills that go beyond the classroom. It prepares them to drive meaningful change within communities and the education system as a whole. After completing the Fellowship, alumni go on to become educators, policymakers, advocates, and entrepreneurs, using their experience to push for long-term improvements in Nigeria’s education sector.
A Global Approach to Educational Reform
Teach for Nigeria follows a successful model that has been adopted in 61 countries across six continents as part of the Teach for All network. This includes programs such as Teach for America, Teach First UK, Lead for Ghana, Teach for Bangladesh, Teach for Armenia, and Teach for India, all of which share the goal of improving education worldwide.
Recruitment and Selection Process
The Recruitment, Selection, and Matriculation unit is responsible for identifying and enrolling passionate young graduates and professionals into the two-year Fellowship. Candidates who successfully pass the final assessment are officially inducted through a structured onboarding process that helps them understand the program’s vision and expectations.
Who Can Apply?
To be considered for the Fellowship, applicants must complete the eligibility form with accurate details. A valid email address is essential to ensure proper communication about the next steps. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will receive an email with further instructions.
How to Submit a Strong Application
Since the Fellowship is highly competitive, submitting a well-prepared application is crucial. The application is the first impression you make on the selection team, and a strong submission increases your chances of advancing to the next stage. Here are some tips:
- Read the instructions carefully before you start your application.
- Showcase your leadership potential by sharing experiences that demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and impact.
- Write three compelling essays explaining your leadership journey, motivation for joining the Fellowship, and long-term career goals. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your responses clearly.
- Highlight your achievements in academics, volunteer work, and professional experiences.
- Upload the required documents, including:
- Bachelor’s degree certificate (a statement of result is accepted if issued within the last three years)
- WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB certificate
- NYSC certificate or discharge letter
- Birth certificate
- Proofread your application to avoid grammar and spelling mistakes.
- Be honest about your achievements—false information can be detected during the selection process.
- Next Steps
- Applicants who successfully pass the initial screening will be invited to take an online aptitude test.
