Anthony Hopkins Loses Pacific Palisades Home in California Wildfires

Renowned Welsh actor Anthony Hopkins has lost his Pacific Palisades home to the devastating wildfires sweeping through California.
The fires have forced over 30,000 residents to evacuate, including several Hollywood stars.
The 87-year-old Oscar winner’s luxurious four-bedroom, five-bathroom home, purchased in 2021 for $6 million, was destroyed by the raging flames.
Photos of the aftermath reveal the colonial-style property reduced to rubble.
Hopkins had bought the home as a fresh start after selling his long-time Malibu oceanfront residence for $10.5 million, more than twice what he paid for it in 2001.
The loss adds his name to the growing list of celebrities affected by the disaster.
The California wildfires, which have been fueled by strong winds and dry conditions, continue to wreak havoc in Los Angeles and its surrounding areas.
Authorities are working tirelessly to contain the blaze as residents and Hollywood elites alike grapple with the destruction.
