Meta Scraps Third-Party Fact-Checking with User-Driven Community Notes

The mother company for Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram has put its-third-party-fact-checking program to an halt, replacing it with a Community Notes initiative which is a user-driven model. This was contained in a blog post by  Joel Kaplan, Meta’s Chief Global Affairs Officer.

Gospel Singer Timileyin Ajayi arrested for Behaeading his girlfriend in Abuja 

In a shocking news,  Oluwa Timileyin Ajayi, a gospel singer  has been arrested in Agwan Sarki Orozo area of Nasarawa State, near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with the severed head of his girlfriend in a polythene bag. After the arrest, he confessed to the crime and claimed the rest of the body was at his residence 

Aiyedatiwa Frees 40 Prison Inmates in Celebration of 60th Birthday

Ondo State governor, on his birthday, freed 40 prison inmates serving different terms in the Nigerian Correctional Centres. This was disclosed by the state’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
