Ademola Lookman Visits President Tinubu With CAF Player Of The Year Trophy

African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman, visited President Bola Tinubu at his Lagos residence on Thursday, presenting him with the 2024 CAF Africa Player of the Year trophy.
The 27-year-old Atalanta forward was accompanied by the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko, during the visit.
Lookman clinched the prestigious award last December in Marrakech, Morocco, edging out his compatriot and previous winner, Victor Osimhen.

The award recognized his stellar performances for both the Super Eagles and Atalanta.
One of his most memorable achievements came in the 2024 UEFA Europa League final, where he scored a sensational hat-trick to secure Atalanta’s first-ever European title.
He also enjoyed a standout 2024/2025 season, netting 15 goals and helping the Italian club earn a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

The Super Eagles forward is currently spending time in Lagos during the off-season, following what has been a landmark year in his career.
