Segun Arinze Addresses Homosexuality Allegations in Nollywood

Veteran Nigerian actor Segun Arinze has spoken out about claims of homosexuality in Nollywood during an interview with Arise TV.

The 59-year-old star made it clear that he does not engage in such activities and emphasized his focus on leading a professional and straightforward life.

Addressing the allegations, Arinze stated, “I do not bend over, so I cannot react to it. If others do, that’s their business. They are adults and have the right to do whatever they want. It’s not my concern.”

The seasoned actor, who prefers to stay out of controversies, explained that his priority is his work and living an honest life. “I avoid unnecessary lash backs

I focus on my career, my business, and being the professional that I am,” he added.

Born Segun Aina, Arinze initially gained recognition as a singer before transitioning to acting. While his debut album Dream did not achieve commercial success, his career skyrocketed after his role in the 1996 hit movie Domitilla.

Since then, he has appeared in over 100 films, cementing his status as a Nollywood icon.
