*You Married Your Grandfather” – Angela Okorie Fires Back at Regina Daniels Over Mercy Johnson Controversy

Angela Okorie has hit back hard at Regina Daniels following the young actress’s public criticism over Okorie’s comments about Mercy Johnson’s health.

In a series of posts on her Instagram Story, Okorie responded with a mix of personal jabs, criticism, and warnings directed at Regina. While acknowledging Regina’s status as a senator, Okorie dismissed her remarks as childish and disrespectful.

“Note: No disrespect to the senator,” Okorie wrote. “You’re like a child to me. You grew up around me. You used to visit my home with your mum. I thought you were wise enough to marry someone your age, but instead, you chose wealth, private jets, and luxury. Things you could have earned yourself, but you married a man old enough to be your grandfather.”

Okorie accused Regina of being motivated by greed and relying on her marriage for the lifestyle Okorie claims to have built on her own.

“That’s why I always tell the younger generation to make their own money so they can build the life they want. You shouldn’t be speaking when I’m speaking. I’m what you wish you could be, but you had to marry an old man to get there,” she added.

Issuing a stern warning, Okorie told Regina to avoid mentioning her name again.

“If you insult me again, I’ll remind you of what you’ve forgotten. This is your final warning. Focus on your family. Everyone knows who really needs help—you, not me.”

She closed by accusing Regina of trying to use her name for attention.

“You just want to trend. Nigerians have forgotten you and your old man. Don’t use me for a comeback. Stay in your lane.”

Regina Daniels has yet to respond to Angela Okorie’s rebuttal.
