Ruben Amorim vows to find solution to Antony’s form at Manchester United
Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim, has expressed commitment to unlock the best in Brazilian winger Antony.
Following Antony’s unproductive campaign last season, Amorim has taken it a personal duty to find solution to the player’s deep in form.
He has already shifted the player from his traditional winger role to a new position as a wing-back.
This tactical adjustment was first evident in United’s recent Europa League clash against Bodo/Glimt, where Antony’s defensive work alongside his offensive flair was put to the test.
The Portuguese manager has also pinpointed confidence as a critical area for Antony’s revival.
Known for his dazzling performances at Ajax, Antony has struggled to replicate that form in Manchester.
However, Amorim has been vocal about giving the player a “new beginning.”
