Pablo, a serial Kidnapper dubbed for terrorizing the whole of Ihiala Axis of Anambra state has been arrested.

This was contained via a Facebook post obtained by ASIWAJU Media on Monday.

According to the post, Pablo was arrested on Sunday by the Nigerian police and it was highly presumed that his arrest would restore peace to the Ihiala community.

ā€œThis is Pablo, a daredevil kidnapper terro-rizing the Ihiala axis of Anambra State. He’s from Ihiala, Anambra State. Police just nabbed him and immediately c-ut off one of his ears. This happened yesterday. It’s assumed that the area would become a little calm since he is captured,ā€ the post reads in part.

Meanwhile, Statistics show that no fewer than 20 persons may have been kidnapped between May and August 2024 with over N250 million paid as ransom, including over 10 deaths recorded in three months.

On July 23, 2024, one person known as ā€˜Majorā€™ was kidnapped at the same Ihiala as he was heading to Umuahia, Abia State for his daughterā€™s wedding. His family was said to have paid N2 million to his abductors.

The most Recent one was the kidnapping of three families on their way to celebrate Christmas in Anambra state. The above underscores Anambra State as an Hotbed of kidnappings.

Speaking with ASIWAJU media on Monday, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, The Police PPRO confirmed nabbing Pablo in a phone call with our reporter.

ā€œYes, we apprehended Pablo Yesterday,ā€ he said in a phone call. However he never mentioned anything about cutting off his ear.
