NYSC Lagos Holds First Morning Meditation, As Camp Director Addresses Pcms

With the commencement of the 2025 Batch “A” Stream I Orientation Course yesterday, today the Course observed its first morning meditation, bringing Prospective Corps Members together under thoughtful ruminations and religious inclinations.
Meanwhile, the Camp Director for the 2025 Batch “A” Stream I Orientation Course, Mrs Beatrice Fayinto, has welcomed the Prospective Corps Members to the camp, congratulating them on their academic achievements which qualified them to serve the nation.
Setting the guidelines for the Orientation Course, she encouraged the corps members to keep to rules and set themselves up for greatness, maximizing opportunities that get presented before them. She insisted on obedience as a crucial ingredient for success and call on them to stay true to the principles of national service.
As part of the programme this morning, the Head of Publicity and Protocol, Mrs Omolola Aladesoun, urged the Prospective Corps Members to embrace the teachings of Morning Meditation, detailing that it will improve their public speaking skills, and refine their thoughts.
Drawing her instructions from the first Meditation of the Course titled; “Clarion Call,” She appealed to the Prospective Corps Members to be committed to the service of the Fatherland and and obey the rules and regulations guiding the Orientation Course exercise, pointing them to the lyrics of the first stanza of the NYSC Anthem.
The NYSC anthem, in lyrics and tune was taught by Ms Momoh Alaoye to the Prospective Corps Members who sang in unison.
The other segments of the programme this morning were the call to prayers by the religious bodies on camp which was immediately followed by the morning physical training exercises.
