Asiwaju Media: Comr. Caleb, 2024 seems to have been a challenging year for you. Can you share your reflections?

Comr. Okorie Caleb Ezechima: Absolutely, Mercy. 2024 felt like the longest year of my life. It was filled with mistakes, betrayals, and disappointments. Friends and partners broke my trust, but instead of dwelling on the pain, I took responsibility for my actions and focused on moving forward.
Asiwaju Media: That’s inspiring. Were there any highlights that stood out for you?
Comr. Okorie Caleb Ezechima: Certainly, despite the setbacks, I achieved significant milestones. I launched new businesses, acquired properties, and built meaningful relationships. I also experienced good health, and I credit God’s faithfulness for these blessings.
Asiwaju Media : What lessons from 2024 will guide you in 2025?
Comr. Okorie Caleb Ezechima : I learned to embrace uncertainty and trust the process. Growth often comes from challenges, and success is not just about reaching goals but about who you become in the journey. As we enter 2025, my advice to others is simple: dream big, take risks, and prioritize self-care and learning.
Another Respondent,Ugwu Nneoma Annunciata Zita narrated his Growth through reflection and action in the year.
Asiwaju Media: Zita, as a student and creative, what was 2024 like for you?
Ugwu Nneoma Annunciata Zita: 2024 was transformative. It taught me to take responsibility for my life and stop waiting for someone to save me. I learned that starting before you’re ready is key, clarity often comes with action.

Asiwaju Media: That’s profound. What other lessons shaped your year?
Ugwu Nneoma Annunciata Zita: I realized that investment isn’t just financial—it’s about your time and energy too.
My relationship with God grew stronger, and I understood the power of breaking big goals into smaller steps. I also filtered my environment, choosing carefully what I watched, listened to, and who I spent time with.
Asiwaju Media: How are you preparing for 2025?
Ugwu Nneoma Annunciata Zita: My focus is on authenticity and consistency. I’ve built a community on WhatsApp to share insights on spiritual growth, self-development, and finance. I’m determined to grow alongside like-minded individuals, and my mantra for 2025 is to dream big, take risks, and stay focused.
However Christopher Blessing also had something to share about her year as she handles toxic relationships and find Peace

Asiwaju Media: Blessing, your story reflects deeply on relationships. What lessons did 2024 teach you?
Christopher Blessing: the biggest lesson I learned is that closure isn’t always necessary. I had a close friend whose behavior didn’t align with my values. Despite our differences, I stayed in the relationship far too long, and it took a toll on my mental health.
Asiwaju Media: How did you eventually handle the situation?
Christopher Blessing: I decided to address the issue directly by sharing my concerns with her. Unfortunately, it didn’t lead to resolution. Instead, it created more tension between us. Later, I realized that some relationships are better left behind without seeking closure.
Asiwaju Media: That must have been tough. What advice do you have for others in similar situations?
Christopher Blessing: If a relationship is toxic, leave it. Staying too long can make you adopt negative behaviors. Also, not everything needs to be said; silence and distance can be more effective.
As these stories show, 2024 was a year of immense growth, resilience, and self-discovery. Whether through setbacks, successes, or hard-earned lessons, these individuals are moving into 2025 with renewed focus and determination. Their insights remind us to embrace change, prioritize our well-being, and never stop dreaming big.
So, as we step into a new year, let’s carry their wisdom with us: take risks, stay authentic, and make every moment count, she concluded.
