I know nothing about the pepper soup - Lady says after autopsy shows that ex-boyfreind and friends passed away from generator fume 

A lady identified as Aisha Sulyman, was allegedly accused of killing her ex-boyfreind , Emmanuel and three other friends on October 26, 2024.

The situation attracted the Nigeria police force who took her into custody and subsequently charged her to court

Aisha Suleiman, was accused of poisoning her ex-boyfriend, Emmanuel, and four other friends with pepper soup. 

The incident in Afashio community, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State. Emmanuel’s father, Mr. Elogie Ezekiel, discovered the lifeless bodies of the five friends, including his son, in Emmanuel’s apartment.

Narrating her ordeal, Aisha said the trouble started when she parted ways with her late ex boyfriend and his father stopped her from coming into their house.

According to her, The local vigilante members called the Nigeria police force and security personnel who rescued her away from the members trying to get her killed after the incident. 

“ I did not know anything about the pepper soup, I did not cook pepper soup that day. Emmanuel’s best friend posted me know day that anybody who find me would be compensated with N500,000 , we went to the police to report, on our way going we were blocked on the road and was accused of Killing my ex” Aisha narrated 

Counsel to the accused, Osawanji said he decided to pick up the case up by some of his friends mostly Human right activistist and discovered that Aisha was frand , the death of her late boyfriend and his friends was as a result of generator fume. 

“Because of her age , they could not take her to the prisons and she was remanded at the welfare house” the counsel added

Autopsy revealed that the boyfriend and his friends dies as a result of generator fume. There was no claim leaking that Aisha was at Emmanuel’s place when the incident happened. The father of the deceased, said she never come to the house that day.
