How to apply for the federal civil service recruitment 2025

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), has officially announced the commencement of its recruitment process for various positions across the Federal Civil Service.
This opportunity offers eligible Nigerians a chance to work in public service and contribute to the nation’s development.
In a statement released on Monday, Taiwo Hassan, the Head of Press and Public Relations for the FCSC, highlighted that interested and qualified candidates can now submit their applications via the commission’s dedicated recruitment portal.
The commission emphasized that applicants must adhere to the guideline of applying for only one position to ensure fairness and compliance.
Details of the Recruitment Process
The FCSC is calling on Nigerians who meet the specified criteria to apply for the available positions. The announcement, which was shared on the commission’s official website and published in national newspapers, includes detailed instructions on how to apply and the required documents.
The statement read:
“The Federal Civil Service Commission is receiving applications for various vacancies in the Federal Civil Service. The vacancy announcement is published on the commission’s website: www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng and in national newspapers.”
Application Guidelines
Eligible applicants are required to apply for only one position and must upload the necessary supporting documents during the application process. Candidates with physical challenges are encouraged to disclose the nature of their disabilities to ensure that appropriate accommodations can be made.
The required documents include:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Ph.D./Master’s Degree Certificate (if applicable)
- Degree/HND/NCE Certificate
- WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificate
- Primary School Certificate
- NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Local Government Identification Letter
- Recent Passport Photograph
Deadline for Submission
All applications must be submitted on or before Monday, 10th March, 2025. Candidates are advised to complete their applications well in advance to avoid last-minute complications.
