FG appoints new VC for Admiralty Varsity

The Federal Government has approved the appointment of Professor Lucian Chukwu as the substantive Vice-Chancellor of Admiralty University, Ibuzor, Delta State.
A statement issued by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education, Mrs Folasade Boriowo explains that the Governing Council of the University conducted the selection exercise in which Professor Lucian Chukwu emerged as the highest scorer with 83.41% among the five interviewed candidates.
It says in line with the principle of merit being upheld by the federal government, the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, has approved the appointment which is for a single tenure of five years, with effect from 28th February, 2025.
The Minister wishes the new Vice-Chancellor of Admiralty University, Professor Lucian Chukwu a successful tenure.
