Carter Efe Slams Portable Over ₦10 Million TikTok Appearance Fee Demand

Content creator Carter Efe has called out singer Portable over what he described as an outrageous ₦10 million fee demanded for a TikTok livestream appearance.
Carter expressed disbelief at the amount, questioning how much revenue he would even need to generate from the stream to break even. “How much do you think I’ll make from a TikTok live that you’re charging ₦10 million?” he asked.
In response, Portable lashed out, accusing Carter Efe of trying to take advantage of him—comparing the situation to how he was once allegedly exploited by his former signee, Young Duu.
The clash underscores ongoing tensions in Nigeria’s entertainment space over the value of digital appearances and the blurred lines between fair compensation and exploitation.
