Bright Chimezie Signs Global Deal With Sony Music Publishing To Preserve Zigima Sound

Nigerian highlife icon Bright Chimezie has signed a groundbreaking publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing, aimed at preserving and expanding the reach of his iconic “Zigima Sound” to audiences around the world.
Chimezie, known for his energetic performances and fusion of traditional rhythms with contemporary styles, is widely regarded as a trailblazer in highlife and Afrobeat. His unique sound, rich in cultural storytelling and social commentary, has shaped the Nigerian music scene for decades.
