Baderinwa Calls for Improved Facilities at NYSC Orientation Camp

Lagos State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa, has appealed to the Lagos State Government to address the challenges facing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Iyana-Ipaja, Agege, Lagos.
During a visit by the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, to the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 Corps Members, Baderinwa highlighted the challenges faced by the corps members, including limited chairs for lectures and other camp activities.
She explained that despite the efforts of the state government, the camp still lacks adequate facilities, including chairs, which hinders the comfort and effective learning of the corps members.
“However, we are not without challenges. Limited chairs for corps members during lectures and other camp activities, remains area where we seek intervention as we remain hopeful that the construction work at the proposed NYSC permanent Orientation Camp at Agbowa in Ikorodu Lagos would commence soon to resolve the accommodation constraints and the need for suitable orientation facilities”.
“It is on this premise, that we kindly request the the First Lady to support with donation of more chairs to ensure that these patriots are comfortably seated during lectures and camp activities.”
