Zulum condemns murder of truck driver by suspected soldier

The Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has strongly condemned the killing of a truck driver Mohammed Bello by a suspected soldier along Maiduguri-Gamborun Ngala road.
Governor Zulum who spoke through the Secretary to the state Government, Dr. Bukar Tijani at media briefing in Maiduguri described the killing as heinous and brutal.
He expressed commitment of the state government to ensure that the matter is properly investigated and the culprit face the full wrath of the law. He commiserated with the family of the deceased and urged members of the public to maintain peace while the matters is handled according to the law.
Meanwhile, the Seven Division Nigerian Army confirmed the incident, noting that the soldier in question has been arrested.
