Umoke Daniel Inaugurated as NAIS President, Vows Transparent and Inclusive Leadership

Comrade Umoke Daniel has officially assumed office as the President of the National Association of Ikwo Students (NAIS), following his victory in the association’s elections held last Saturday.
The inauguration ceremony, which took place at the Ikwo Local Government Secretariat, Onuebonyi Echara drew students, senior comrades, and invited guests from across the region.
In his inaugural address, Comrade Umoke expressed deep appreciation to the student community for entrusting him with the responsibility of leadership.
“To be elected as your President is a privilege I deeply cherish,” he said.
“Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for placing your trust in me.”
Setting the tone for his administration, Umoke stated his commitment to transparency, accessibility, and student-centered leadership. He pledged to maintain open communication with students and include them in key decision-making processes.
“My door, and my mind, will always be open to you,” he stated. “You will be informed, you will be heard, and you will be part of the decision-making process.”
The new president also underscored his desire to build a collaborative and vibrant student community, calling on members to actively contribute to the growth and progress of the association.
“We are the future, and the power to shape that future lies within us,” he said. “Let us work together to build a vibrant and inclusive student community. Let us be the change we wish to see in the world.”
Umoke outlined his vision for a legacy of excellence, promising to tackle student challenges through sustainable solutions and to foster a culture where every student’s voice matters.
