Speaker Odunwa Present Agaramaugoede II and others To Ikwo Council Boss

The Speaker, Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa has ensured that Communities in Ikwo Local Government Area warm up to His Excellency the Governor’s desire to strengthen Traditional Institutions in all the Communities of the State.

Hon. Odunwa has guided his People – Communities in the Area which hadn’t Traditional Rulers through the proper Processes of Election and Installation of new Crowns.

At Ikwo Local Government Area Headquarters Onuebonyi Echara, On Monday, the Right Honorable Speaker led the newly elected Traditional Rulers from three Autonomous Communities to the Council Chairman, Barrister Sunday Basil Nwankwo for them to deepen their ties with him.

The traditional rulers include, HRH Major Mgbebu Nwofia Onwe (Rtd)- Ova V of Inyimagu Oreke Ejeje Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Ezekiel Oyika – Agaramugede II of Okpuitumo Agaramugede Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Christopher Nwidagu- Agamanwenyi II of Ndiagu Igbudu Autonomous Community, were so presented.

In due course, the Council Chairman will make their reign known to His Excellency the Governor at whose discretion they will earn their Staffs of Office.
