Sanwo-Olu Urges Patience, Cautions Against Protests

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appealed to residents to exercise patience and not resort to protests, which he believes may hinder the progress made by his administration.
In an address to the people of Lagos, Governor Sanwo-Olu acknowledged the challenges faced by the state but emphasized that his government is working tirelessly to address them.
He cited recent efforts such as the signing of a new minimum wage law, student loans, financial autonomy for local governments, and creative solutions to the foreign exchange crisis.
The Governor also highlighted initiatives specific to Lagos, including EKOCARES, aimed at easing economic burdens and improving education and healthcare. He assured residents that his administration is committed to their well-being and prosperity.
Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed concerns that protests could undo the modest gains made and urged residents to support President Tinubu’s leadership and the government’s efforts.
