Rema , first African to perform at Ballon d’Or awards

Rema, an artist with multiple awards, delivered a stunning performance at the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony.
A photo of the singer and one of the show’s hosts, famous football player Didier Drogba, went viral on social media.
Rema also shared a video of himself walking through Paris, France, where the French football award ceremony was being held, on his Instagram stories. Football players couldn’t seem to get enough of his on-stage performance as he sang his hit song “Calm Down” at the event. His latest EP, ‘Ravage’, is further proof of his success. It debuted in over 50 countries just a few hours after its release on Friday, October 26, 2023.
