Platoons 9,10 Dominate NYSC Lagos Cultural Carnival with Power Oil Victory

The NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja hosted the cultural carnival for Batch “C” Stream II Orientation Course , with Platoon 9 and 10 emerging as the winners of the top prize.






The cultural Carnival which is a display and celebration of Nigeria cultural diversities, came with songs, foods and drinks.
During the event, Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa, State Coordinator of NYSC Lagos, stated that it aimed to showcase Nigeria’s magnificent culture.
She encouraged the corps members to embrace the opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and collaborate as a team to demonstrate unity in our diversities.






The cultural carnival which was sponsored by Power oil, Minimie, Bold and Akmodel homes and properties, had the platoons engage in cultural contest as well as cooking contest.
At the end of the event, during the cultural carnival, Platoon 9 was declared the winner, while Platoon 4 and 1 secured second and third positions respectively.
In the Power Oil contest, Platoon 10 emerged as the winner, while Platoon 4 and 5 obtained second and third positions.
