Pastor’s Olive Oil Ritual Leaves Ebonyi Man Permanently Deaf

Nweke Nelson Oforbuike, a native of Ikwo in Ebonyi state who trekked from Enugu to Abakaliki to meet a self-acclaimed Pastor of United Church for Africa (UAC), Alex Oguta has recounted how a deceptive Pastor’s Olive Oil Ritual treatment made him deaf permanently.
Mr. Oforbuike narrated that his mother is a strong faithful Christian who believes so much in Jesus and pastors. But one day when he was younger, he had a stomach turbulence that shook the walls of his intestines.
“My mother rushed me to the hospital and I was diagnosed with appendicitis. The doctor charged my mother ₦20,000 to remove the appendix through a surgical procedure. My poor mother ran from pillar to post until she was able to raise ₦10,000”
He added that her mother rushed to her pastor(Name withheld) and informed him of the health challenges of her son and requested the man of God to support her since she had been paying her tithe regularly or praying for her son to survive in the theater.
“The pastor looked her straight in the eyes and told her that her son was under spiritual attack and didn’t need any medical treatment. He collected ₦10,000 from the poor and helpless woman and instructed her to bring her son for prayers and deliverance”
“That was how I was rushed to the pastor instead of the hospital. The Pastor started feeding him with olive oil”
He told his mother to go and look for more money, and the woman obeyed and borrowed money until the woman had nothing to lay hands on, again.
The pain in Oforbuike’s stomach increased on an hourly basis. The fever that came with the pain was out of this world. He laid down on the mat and was dying slowly of pain while the pastor was busy pouring olive oil on his ears and eyes and continually spoke in tongues against witches and wizards.
When the mother found out that his son was about to cross the Rubicon of death, she cried profusely and sort for help from strangers. A Good Samaritan who saw her decided to help her by taking Oforbuike to the hospital.
The appendicitis was at the point of bursting into the stomach cavity when they reached the hospital because that part of the intestine was already black, rotten, and swollen. The doctor miraculously saved his life and the stranger paid the hospital bills.
But, the high fever that accompanied the pains had already damaged the nerves that carry the vibration of sound into the eardrums and Oforbuike was made permanently deaf after he recovered.
Her mother was happy that her son was alive even though he was deaf. The pastor insisted it was a spiritual attack and the mother still believed the man of God.
“I left the village for Lagos where I hawked apples on the street but my heart was not at rest because of the deformity. I moved from church to church in search of a solution to his ear problem until i met another man of God who promised to permanently open his ears with prayers”.
The man of God told him to buy 250 plastic chairs at the rate of ₦1,700 and bring them to his Church before God answered his prayers.
“I was desperate to get back to my normal life, I went ahead to do as I was instructed”
“That’s how I lost all the money I made selling apples in Lagos and still have a blocked ear. I traveled back to the East and was still searching for a solution to his problem through pastors”.
From the Facebook page of Alex Oguta, he discovered that he had been scammed through Pastor’s Olive Oil Ritual and he immediately rushed back to his former Church in Lagos where he donated 250 plastic chairs to see if he could retrieve his property, unfortunately, the pastor had sold everything including other properties, and left to another location.
