NYSC Lagos Camp Halts Activities for First Jumat as Ramadan Approaches

Muslim Faithfuls, at the ongoing 2024 Batch “A” Stream I Orientation Course in NYSC Lagos Camp, have set aside all activities to observe the first Jumat as the month of Ramadan speedily approaches.
The Muslim Faithfuls gathered at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp, Iyana-Ipaja to observe the first Jumat today ahead of the month of Ramadan .
This is in adherence to Prophet Muhammad’s charge in Quran 62 verse 9 which says,
“O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you if you only knew.”
