Joe-Tagbo Stresses Planning and Research Vitality for NYSC Efficiency

Official incharge of Planning , Research and Statistics Branch, National Youth Service Corps, in Lagos, Mrs Joe-Tagbo Bridget has described the relevance of the branch’s activities to the scheme, stating that the role of the branch is geared toward efficiency in the scheme.
Addressing 2023 batch “C” Stream II corps members, at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja, Mrs Joe-Tagbo emphasized the importance of adequate planning to achieve set goals, stressing that the unit was responsible for executing the functions of the NYSC.

She explained that the NYSC’s efficient planning system, together with reliable statistics and other resources, provide a working method that lasts from the Orientation course till Winding-up.
Mrs Joe-Tagbo recalled that as part of activities prior the orientation course, the camp environment was inspected and fumigated to make it conducive enough to accommodate corps members and officials.
She further described the service as a policy oriented scheme devoted to instilling the values of planning and research in youth corps members. Speaking further, she cautioned against indecent dressing in the NYSC uniforms and improper assembling of kit items, encouraging corps members to embrace the best of all training their service year would hold.
