ISPON Guides NYSC Corps Members on Safety Practices, Offers Free Online Training

Official of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON), Ekeh Kate has described the main aim of the Institute Lagos corps members currently undergoing Orientation Course at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja, as ensuring safe practices in work environments.

She explained that ISPON is saddled with three core responsibilities, namely; safety management trainings, collaboration for safety advancement, and registering and keeping of all safety professionals in Nigeria.
Compliance with safety practices, according to her, reduces accident rates, increased production and profit, efficiency, and long life of equipment.

Ekeh shared that ISPON is in collaboration with NYSC to promote national safety and consciousness among youth corps members so that they could facilitate same in their host communities. She added that there would be a free 3-month online safety training for corps members if they are interested in registering.
